Land Use Bylaw Zoning

This mapping tool offers the user the ability to pan and zoom anywhere in Amherst to find out what Land Use Zone a specific property is located in. The user has the choice between navigating themselves through the user friendly interface and / or searching by the street name on the right hand drop down list.

As the user zooms past a specified scale, civic addresses and street names appear in the map view. As long as the "i" button is selected on the left hand toolbar then the identification of Land Use Zones will automatically appear on screen as the user maneuvers the mouse throughout the map view.
